What is the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace?
The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of War’s (DoW’s) suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of AI/ML, data, and analytics capabilities through readily awardable pitch videos.
The Solutions Marketplace Model is fully compliant with the SECWAR Memo entitled "Directing Software Acquisition to Maximize Lethality” (March 6, 2025) and the Executive Order entitled, "Modernizing Defense Acquisitions and Spurring Innovation in the Defense Industrial Base” (April 9, 2025).
All awardable solutions have been assessed through complex scoring rubrics and competitive procedures and are available to Government customers with a Marketplace account.
What does this mean for existing and potential customers?
TSM’s assessment of Spartan Shield GRC as an “awardable” solution means current and prospective customers are getting a GRC solution that is aligned with the Department of War’s (DoW) Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office's (CDAO) Strategic Focus Areas and the DoW’s direction to provide next-generation capabilities.
Spartan Shield GRC’s status of “awardable” by the Government Selecting Official (GSO) means the solution is “post-competitive” under 10 USC 4021, 10 USC 4022, 10 USC 3458, FAR/DFARS Part 35, and DFARS Subpart 212.70, and will be eligible for award of further research, prototyping, procurement for experimental purposes, and even production.
